This week we created and installed the gear gobbler which, alongside careful release of the gears by a human player, can receive and deliver gears. Most of the wiring was installed and we performed the first driving and gear delivery tests. Aside from drifting when strafing slowly, the robot functioned as intended. The snowblower motor for the winch was installed and the Lexan ball hopper was built. This week we made significant progress toward the construction of essential elements of the robot to accomplish the field challenges.
